2017 S ALL4 engine pulse

Hi everyone, I have noticed a very quick "pulse" in my Clubman while maintaining speed, especially going uphill between 25-40 MPH. The feeling is more of a slight power loss, not too dramatic, rather than pulsing to higher RPMs...and it's quick and occurs at a consistent rate, depending on RPM. It only happens in MID mode. I typically drive in Sport though but would like to drive in MID more often to eliminate the terribly loud bangs from the NM exhaust. I don't have any CEL or codes.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced this and has any advice. My first thought was transmission but now I am thinking spark plugs, coils, or MAF sensor.

I have a 2017 S all 4 as well. When my car did that it was from bad plugs, which had been fried by cheap octane booster. New plugs and stopped using octane booster 40k miles ago and it never came back.

Thanks! I threw some Lucas Oil injector cleaner in just to see what would happen and there IS a noticeable difference so I am assuming its fuel delivery/spark. I'll check the plugs this weekend as they are approaching 30k and I run it in SPORT. Any plugs you like over others? I have the Beru's in now.

I don't know what kind of plugs they are, sorry. Bosch maybe?

When my Countryman had a similar issue, I replaced the plugs and coils and it went away. Good luck!
