Whoosh sound coming from intake?

I have this boost or vacuum leaked that is causing an audible whoosh/hiss noise, I replaced the sound generator because it had a confirmed smoke test leak in the plastic diagram. Still get the noise and it's intermittent but it always appears around 2000-2500 rpm, I inspected the diverter valve because thiers were traced of oil that could have only came from the diverter valve their was also oil under the waist gate for some reason and their is literally no way oil could come any wire else than from inside these component because I have no leakes anywhere that look like they migrated there. I opened up the diverter and it looked good the rubber still feels good with no cracks. The sound is clearly coming from the intake closest to the filter turbo area but no leaks what so ever so it has to be internal I just see no problems besides a little oil coming from the diverter and waist gate which is odd. I have no cel but the car stumbles on acceleration some times and I can't help but feel like the issues is related to a valve not opening/closing some times.

Factory DV valve is my bet, if you have a aftermarket spacer that vents to air on it, it will make that whooshy noise.

YEah I'm thinking it has to do with the dv maybe getting jammed or shorting out but I'm not getting any open circuit cel. Or low boost for that matter, that's why I'm having such a hard time figuring it out. But the only component on the intake side that I think would cause the sound is the dv and it sounds like it relatively close to the turbo. I'll pull it back off and try spraying lube, I know it activates I checked it already

Most people just change it out as they might have the older design anyway.

I don't think they electrically fail, there's a diaphragm that tears internally.

The original DV was problematic and it was replaced with to the revised version that ECS Tuning linked to. If yours is original and there's any question about it I would recommend just replacing it.

Already inspected I and the rubber was ok.

Double check my dv all is good no tear and it seams to open and close strongly with no issues when I bench tested with 12v, idk but to me it looks like this thing is fine even though I still have the older one I found what looks to be an exhaust leak right behind the manifold closest to the vacuum pump but I'm not sure if this is the noise I'm hearing because I can hear the sound coming from inside the intake filters. I have no sense of direction because I have no check engine light, I'm not trying to just change parts either hoping I fix the problem I want to understand what's going on. This has been going on for months now and I can even find anything on the symptoms I might just have to buy a dv because theres really nothing else that will make this noise in the intake that I can think of but why am I not getting a cel for low boost? and it only happens at about 1800-2000 rpm, occasionally I'll hear it at idle and when I do the engine begins to surge like it has a vacuum leak. I'll by the new diverter and post what happens.

I think my issue is related to the DME , did some voltage checks on boost control solenoid and I'm getting about 4v one the ground side, I think it's intermittently messing with the waistgate and causing issues with the dv im not sure how they operate but after checking the wiring diagram the wires goes straight to the DME the ground wire for the dv also had a voltage of 4v. Supply voltage checked out ok. I haven't even installed the new diverter because I'm almost 90%sure it's not the issue anymore.

Can any one confirm on their own vehicle if the white wire from the diverter valve is supposed to be grounded with key on engine off? I'm not sure if these voltages are normal or not but it seems like their might be a short to ground when the key is on, key off theirs no ground.
