For those of you who have upgraded to JCW Aero, any tips you can recommend? I have a few questions as well I couldn't find with the search.
I have a 2007 Cooper S track car which Im currently rebuilding and ordered JCW Aero kit from ECS.
Car is in the bodyshop, just had aero fitted and painted Porsche Chalk Grey. Those who have upgraded, do you wire up the rear fog lights or do they have covers for them?
Thank you, I went to your site and located the rear fog lights. I think I will convert both to fog since my tail lights have reverse already. Do you also sell the wiring, toggle cover and switch? I understand I'll have to go to Mini for the programming.
You should have the plugs for the rear fog light option tucked up under the rear bumper. So you just need the lights, knock out the old plate or get a new one. Then flash for rear fogs.

@Lawdvadr Was there anything special to fitting up the front bumper? We have an 08 that my wife was hit in and we need to replace the original JCW Aero front bumper, which we cannot find anywhere. Looks like you have the Aero III bumper, which is readily available, but I just wanted to see what if any special work is required for fitment. Thanks
CF hood and Wing is on. Last step for body shop is to do the Moldings I just picked up from BMW then OS Giken LSD and clutch going in. OMP seats reinstalled with sliders, battery relocation and OZ Wheels and tires going on. Almost there!

Fit right on no problem. I had Cooper S bumper beforehand
Looks awesome. Do you have a social profile so we can share on social other then here?
yes social name is the same on Instagram as well. When the car is finished best be sure I will tag you guys as well. I'll shoot the ECS Instagram a DM now
We are about 90% done, OS Giken LSD installed, OS Giken Clutch installed, brake line repaired, battery relocated to the trunk, fenders cut and fenders rolled, carbon flares installed, downpipe to exhaust bolted up. Still to finish up; mouldings all around, headlight trim, hood pins, new OMP seat & sliders & harnesses re-install, and trimming fender liner to fit the 255 Hoosier slicks for the track. Lastly, track alignment and corner balance. Getting there, my mechanic has been extremely slow, we were supposed to finish this by May. If I'm lucky I'll get 1 last track day in October. Wish me luck, everything has been coming out fantastic so far.
i wish it was completed, ill post some updated pictures but progress has stalled. Missed the whole track season unfortunately due to complications with the new OS giken LSD & Clutch install. Mechanic still hasn't gotten the car back to me. The paint needs to be redone on the new roof as well since the new spoiler wasn't aligned correctly. 🤦🏾♂️
Which hood/boot do you have? Any weight comparison to the stock bits?
VIS Racing Carbon Fiber DTM Style Hood & Carbon Creations OEM Look Trunk.
I didnt weigh the stock Hood and Trunk vs the carbon pair but I can tell you the weight difference is extremely significant savings on both.
