Who makes OEM Intake Boot 13717555784_

Anyone know who makes the OEM intake boot for BMW? I bought a Rein brand in late 2018 for $67 on RockAuto and its cracked and is constantly coming loose.

According FCP Euro, REIN is OEM ....

ECS Tuning sells the OEM for $140. The aftermarket brands are around $100.

Ah ... turbo version I see. I would check the aftermarket for an aluminum version. OEM loves using plastic, and it always ends up cracking. That goes for the boost tubes too. My wife's X3 335i blew the plastic boost tube pipe while she was driving, and she really freaked out ... no power baby!

They don't sell an aluminum version but ECS Tuning does sell a silicon version for $135 but I don't know if this car will survive another 4-5 years...

I'm waiting for the front footwell module to burn the car down to the ground.

Rein is not OEM. Gets hot near the engine/turbo and after time degrades the rubber. I would go with the silicone, they hold up the longest, I have not seen one of those split.

I have not seen the Genuine MINI sold in aftermarket yet (as OEM). They still might have an agreement.

Yep, they do that from time to time. I guess they don't really know supplier for MINI like I do.

This Rein lasted 4 years... The hot end was brittle and crumbled apart. The rubber ring underneath was still pliable. Curious.

Yep its worn out, the outside rubber tends to do that. Heat cycles seem to dry them out.
