My solenoid seems to have given out (getting a "Transmission error - set parking brake and call the stealer" error), so while I have a couple of weeks of warranty left, I'm going to get the gear shifter replaced. Is it possible to install the LCI shifter, and if so, what work / parts are required, would anyone know? I'm certain if I ask the stealer, they will have no idea, but will happily charge me (or more like, the warranty company) for it if I tell them I know what I'm doing. Any thoughts welcome!
