Does anyone happen to know what the proper oil pressure specs are on a 2014 Countryman S? I'm trying to do a pressure test to see if perhaps my oil pump is bad but do not know what the reading should be at idle and at 3000rpm. Any input on this would be greatly appreciated!

 

I don't know, I would go check mine for you, but my schwaben scan tool doesn't seem to show oil pressure in the DME live data. How are you reading it?

 

My ultragauge and my Foxwell elite won't read it either. I'm guessing it's because the ECM does not register that information. I'm going to read it with a pressure reader from harbour freight. Taking out the sensor and screwing theirs in to get the pressure. I just don't know what psi to be looking for.

 

Found this, can't attest to its validity. Says appox 10psi at 800rpm (sounds low to me). Then 25-44 PSI at 3k RPM.

Thank you!! That's at least something to go off of. I agree 10 psi does sound low but maybe that's just what it is...
