Need to change out the headlights

My son just bought a sweet 2015 convertible but the headlights suck.

I’m going to buy upgrades for his birthday. Are the projector type good? They’ve GOT to
be better than stock.

I would go for the more expensive ones but it seems they may cause a trip to the dealership for some type of computer adjustment.
I’m looking for a plug and play replacement.

thanks

Cool,

Question does he have factory Xenon? I imagine he has halogen?

Factory Xenon 24w, Helix with aftermarket Xenon or LED, FK, Vinstar, Spyder, Spec D, etc

https://www.ecstuning.com/Mini-2015-...s/US_Spec_Set/

https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...eadlights.html All the ways you can do it.

Ok, just follow the link and make sure you get the ones for halogen and then you can upgrade the bulbs or not if you want.

Factory Xenon 25w upgrade kit is one of the most popular as its for halogen cars also. One and done.

I'll be ordering a set of those depo lights possibly on Monday..........I'm getting that the light output isn't that great with these also ........
from the read of posting. I guess the bulbs need to be changed to a better quality......will the Ziza H-7 be a good option or something else.......

Projectors halogen aftermarket use the H7 ziza : https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ziza-par...3452lb01-03kt/

Halogen Factory MINI headlights use the stock h13 dual filament bulb : https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Sit...h/63217190591/

LED conversion: https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/SiteSearch/h13_led/ , with anti flicker canbus: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-morimoto...ses/led1506kt/

Works but the light is not a focused as the upgraded depo projector/ h7 combo.

I ordered these from you, https://www.ecstuning.com/b-ziza-par...3452lb01-03kt/

like you suggested.

1. They are not like the halogen headlights I have. They don’t fit.
2. They have a plug like a 110v home outlet.

they don’t fit. Nor will they connect to the MINI harness.

is there something I’m missing?

Did you buy them to put into your OEM halogen housings? If so, then those are the wrong bulbs. The OEM housings take an H13 dual filament bulb.

Yep H7 are for the projector aftermarket housings. H13 is the stock halogen headlights.
