There is very little risk or innovation happening in the aftermarket. Virtually all parts are copy/paste of each other with slight variations. One huge area of improvement I feel could be the pre-LCI front grille. The F56 has a very bubble like shape. I'd like to take inspiration from the GT500. It too could have had a completely flat front end but instead, Shelby's signature cowl is what makes it stand out so much. I feel like someone could create an recessed look which could also give the front end a lot more depth.
The bumper guard look could be retained to some extent (tweaking it's shape to again be less bubble like) and the upper and lower part of the grille could be recessed inwards (it could still retain all the original factory clip points on the outside and then recess inwards). This in my opinion would give the car a completely different and much more aggressive look.
There are a lot of innovative aftermarket companies but not for Mini since Mini market is so small... Even BMW/Mini is not really introducing their aftermarket parts much anymore.
