Brake pad service notification

I received my brake pad service notification and had them replaced outside the dealership. How do I reset the service notification on the console? The threads I've seen all seem to pertain to the warning on the odometer, but I'm referring to the message, not the service light.

Thanks!

From: Manassas, VA where the Civil War resides.....
Assuming the sensor was replaced with the brake pads, by going through the reset with the odometer successfully, it should clear any other warnings.

I got this somewhere on a forum, had it in my notes. Figured I would share it here as well.

How to reset service checks, brake pads, etc.:

Make sure the parking brake is off
Press start button to first stage of ignition (do not start engine)
Wait for red brake sensor warning to disappear
Press odometer and hold (about 15 - 20 seconds)
Should see the reset menu
Now just press and hold
Then press and hold again to reset.
If it doesn't work then reset the odometer to zero and try again.

Thank you both - this worked after a couple of attempts. Initially I was getting some sort of test menu that I did not want to mess with, but once I was able to start the first stage of ignition with the "brake" warning in the odometer I was able to access the reset option.
