Looking to get a Pro Exhaust, but can't figure out the differences in price and fitment. I have a 2019 JCW, I looked on ECS Tuning and they have two options:

1.) JCW Tuning Kit for the factory JCW's $1666 Factory Part Number 18302407323
2.) JCW Tuning Kit for B48 & B46 Engines $1079 Factory Part Number 11122359631

Both pictures look to be the same exhaust system, so what is causing the difference in price? Option 2, which seems to be specifically for the Cooper S, also comes with the badging and tuning update, which I won't need. Will this exhaust fit and work on my JCW?

 

MINI discounted the price to move them and they stuck on the price for a while.

18302407323 made for factory JCW cars, no tune, but flashed to vin to activate valvetronic, flashed at dealer
11122359631 tune and activate valvetronic, for the Cooper S platform thats flashed at dealer

Thank you! I appreciate the help. Is it possible to buy the S version and still get the ecu flashed at the dealer for the valvetronic? Also why does it need to be flashed to work? It's it just a bluetooth remote and receiver? Where does the ECU come into play with that?

That's up to the dealer, in the end on the flash its their call.

I'm reading on forums that people are just installing their Pro Exhausts on JCW's and they seem to be working out of the box. What type of flash is needed for the JCW to make the valvetronic flap open?

 

For the Cooper S its a tune to turn on the 15Hp= dealership, for the others they are installing and using the install pdf to activate the valvetronic ( in forum posts if you search with MINI part number).

But some are buying and installing at dealer no matter what and dealer want to flash and activate themselves with VIN, they require VIN matched systems.
