Wanted to introduce myself and our upcoming F57.
My name is Fred, have been a MINI owner since 2006 starting with a fantastic and dearly missed R53.
We are soon going to be picking up a new to us 2020 Cooper S cabriolet with 6 speed manual and 36k km / 22.5k miles.
Color is Moowalk Gray metallic on Cross punch carbon leather, so gray on black
The car will primarily be for the other half as his daily driver for our home in a coastal town of Normandy, in France. I am surprised he went for a manual but super happy that he did.
It is being sold by a semi local to us MINI dealer and is their equivalent to CPO. Over there the original warranty is for two years so it has expired, The CPO program is called MINI Next which means it has two years worth of warranty from the date the car is delivered to us. Delivery is expected around the 21st (I have to wire the money from the US and it takes a while...) I have not seen the car yet but am told it's in really nice condition and is a hoot to drive which is probably what sealed the deal on this three pedal version. Excited to give it a spin when I get there in September.
