How to fix bmw v12 tbody deadpedal feel

So if you've swapped on a bmw v12 65mm throttlebody you'll knowtice that your throttle input drops and there's a huge dead feeling in partial throttle/ mud rpm's. To the point I hated it's feel UNTIL NOW.
F' a stupid 300$ ripoff pedal commander. What you need is what i will link to.
it's been branded by sofar ive seen atleast 4x different brand ranging from 60-200$. Don't waste your money , I had the eittar brand awhile back and it fit the same way.
you WILL NEED to simply modify the throttle controllers input plug where it connects into the throttle pedal. I colored the part pink that you need to clip off , a simple razor blade pushed down easily slices it off so it will fit into the pedal plug. Then just tuck away the box next the ur throttle pedal and run the to where ever you want.
it COMPLETELY fixed the dead pedal feeling and on its lowest setting it feels almost like stock but a tad bit touchier and absolutely no lag. I love it. Yes it can be done via a tune but that takes 10x the time.. here's the link to the controller and pics on howto..
the controller # you need to purchase IS #875 .....
hopefully this helps you as much as it's helped me..
Now get out there and start modding !

What a riot!!!!!! Got it in 9 days and for $28 ! What an awesome mod lol. Soooo responsive at mode 2.6. I was sceptical at first, but man, this little jitter bug wants to go! Granted I also have the upgraded bmw throttle body.

On the pink area where you have to remove the plastic, I had to remove the other end too, the opposite end. For some reason, it won't connect with the interface of the gas pedal. I ordered the same item, dunno why it was different. But anyways, once you remove it- it would lock in place. There are tiny numbers on the interface , so make sure pin 1 connects to the number 1 pin etc.

Also, first time removing gas pedal. There is a tab on the gas pedal ( brake side) , push on that with a flat head screwdriver towards the floor and at the same time, SLIDE the BASE of the gas pedal to the brake pedal. Easy. Follow thru with removing interface cable.

If you turn off the engine, the pedal "head unit/controller" stays on for a few minutes. It would auto shutdown by itself.

I used PayPal to order. Didn't want to use my card for AliExpress 😂

I wanted to thank you. Picked one of these up for like 28 bucks, received in 9 days, cut the 2 tabs, lag in pedal is gone. Pulling out into traffic is a breeze.

Thank you Adam for the link and instructions. Ordered one to give it a whirl and so far I am happy with the outcome .
price was right and following the instructions it was fairly easy to install. Running it on the factory 2.6 setting, car feels more responsive . One thing I am happy is it seems to have gotten rid of my " stutter " issue between 3000 to 3500 rpm .
Not sure why , but have stalled 2 times , will take a little to get used to .

I had been eyeing one of these ever since I installed the 325 (8 maybe) tb on my mini and couldn't resolve the 3k dead band. To the point I was wondering if going back to the original tb was not the best approach. Glad someone already did the homework on it. No codes so far?

Fantastic Mod! Note, I didn't have to cut off the tabs as mine was plug and play.

I was never happy with the lag/dead spot the car had under acceleration. Sport mode on the "9-drive" throttle controller solves that problem. Selecting "Race-9" turns the accelerator pedal into a toggle switch and me into a teenager again .

Thanks Adam, I installed this a few months ago. It works great. I did have to cut off the tabs on my 2003 R53 S.
