MINI R56 N12 rough RPM with slight accelerator pedal pressing

Hi, my 2010 MINI R56 with N12 engine and 130k miles is experiencing strange RPM behavior, when the accelerator pedal is slightly pressed and RPM should raise from idle to ~800-820. I've checked absolutely everything, replaced spark plugs, PCV diaphragm and PCV hose, also head cover gasket was replaced, so there's no air leaks. VANOS solenoids replaced. Car runs smoothly on the road, fuel consumption is quite good. No CEL and no errors checking from the ISTA. O2 sensors also were replaced and showing 1.00 (14.7) for air/fuel mix. One thing that was checked is that when intake cam sensor or intake VANOS solenoid is disconnected and that way valvetronic is disabled, CEL shows up, but on slight accelerator push RPMs are raising as they should, without any hiccups. Attaching video to show that strange behavior. Maybe someone has experienced that kind of issue and can advice me. Thanks.

Thanks, but it's not about pushing brake pedal. Issue comes when I'm pressing just accelerator slightly even without brake pedal. At this moment valvetronic should turn eccentric shaft a little bit for more revs, but in fact RPMs are dropping to ~600 and then stabilizes again.

i have similar problem i my cooper s. i think it's the injectors. can you check fuel trims while driving (or multiplicative mixture adaptation is the bmw language i believe)?

I've checked and cleaned injectors already. During driving behavior is fine. It appears only while standing and deceleration until full stop, when RPMs are dropping to idle.

It looks as if there is a decrease in the Eccentric Shaft Actual Value when you depress the pedal.

The throttle control is drive by wire I believe. Thus this suggests the problem is with the drive by wire system.

Admittedly this is just a WAG.

Any OBD2 pending codes? And for the throttle there may be proprietary codes logged.

If you can initiate a reset or calibration of the electronic throttle from behind the wheel try that. Or if the tool you have can initiate that give it a try.

Calibration and adaption for VANOS and Valvetronic has been done several times without any errors. Also no errors checking with OBD and ISTA/INPA. That is so strange for me. Even CO level in exhaust gases are zero, so engine burns A/F mix quite good.

No, see, the problem is I read your post before I had my coffee, miscomprehended it, and responded with completely the wrong thing, lol. Sorry about that.

So nobody has experienced such issue?
Does anybody have replaced valvetronic eccentric shaft or intake vanos which are suspicious as I think?
