Nice looking car. Gotta say though the price ($20,000) is a bit optimistic especially with the KBB pricing info displayed that has a private sale price range of from nearly $13,000 to $15,000.
Thanks. I’m a little flexible with the price, but considering it’s condition, miles, rarity and most dealers are retailing 2013 JCW’s with more miles for over $20k….I’m not too far off. KBB is great for most cars….but what does it say about r53 JCWs or a GP1?

KBB also deducts from the value if a car lacks the sunroof but we all know that a no sunroof (or slick top) adds to the value. Also there is no extra $ attributed to special/less common colors or to the one year only N18JCW…
KBB is of no relevance when it comes to young timer enthusiast cars. It’s a data base where the special cars’ values get dissolved in the average price of the majority of a certain model.
KBB is often used by potential buyers, but rarely accepted by those same buyers when they are sellers or have to negociate with the insurance in the case of a loss. A case in point of shifting standards.

Haven't used KBB to price MINIs, well since when took my 2018 JCW to the Pleasanton CA MINI dealer. I used KBB, NADA, and looked online at what similar cars were being offered for.
If you feel the price is realistic that's fine, but that's just half the battle, though. You need a prospective buyer who has the same opinion as you.
'course, you won't know if there is such a person out there until you see what kind of interest there is.
