Ok, Had an oil change and within a week had the check engine light come on. Technician checked it and said it was a sensor in the radiator, but temperature is spot on and not the problem. Car runs great and mechanic said to ignore it or replace the radiator! Basic code reader shows $7E8 & $7EF . Any ideas?

I cant remember, but Im thinking evaporative vent valve.

What year/Model??

 

Just for the heck of it, check your gas cap, see if its loose.
