I'm retired from civil service, an Army veteran and reside in Alexandria AL. This will be my first Mini but have always thought they very cool cars. I have owned way to many vehicles during my lifetime but guess you could say I'm a car nut and like a lot of different vehicles. My car was built in a country that I use to live in for 3 years as a child because my father was in the Air Force at the time. I have very fond memories of Holland and love the idea I'm about to own a car that was built there.
Just 4 weeks ago I ordered my 2023 Mini Cooper S Convertible and she is already built from the Netherlands plant and sitting at the port waiting on a boat ride. Was told to expect 6 months or more and my dealer is as shocked and I am. Very thankful and hope the rest of the journey goes as well. Wish me luck!
