First time on NorthAmericanMotoring, with my "new" MC40

Hello ALL!! I don't know why, but I have NEVER joined NorthAmericanMotoring!! I KNOW!! CRAZY!!

I have a 2004 Cooper S MC40 (#451) that is my dream!!! I am a 20 year old, who has spend his time while in college, restoring this car, and making it a super fun daily driver! I can't wait to hear feedback from you guys on ideas for the MC40. I currently have a Cravenspeed Cold Air Intake, and a Cravenspeed 15% Pulley, and man it is a super thrill to drive!! I have heard that a tune makes a HUGE difference, and I am currently looking into one!

I have performed 90% of all my maintenance by myself in my garage with basic tools!! Axle rebuild, Changing out all fluids, Spark Plugs, Coilpack and Boots. Oil Filter Housing Gasket, and Oil Cooler Gasket Seals, Full Brake Upgrade, All bushings. Dropped the Subframe, cleaned and put all new bushings there. Oh, and can't forget about those Power Steering Lines!!! :D The only thing I didn't do was the Supercharger Service right after I got the car. All that credit goes to Mmotorworx in Frisco, TX. Manny and his mechanics are AWESOME. They provide great customer service, and GET IT DONE RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!! Couldn't be happier with Manny and his work! I have never had to rebleed, or top up my cooling system in over a year since it was completed!

It's a pleasure to join a MINI community like this, and I look forward to chatting with you all!

P.S. I know I don't have the 40th Anniversary Stickers on there!! As soon as it's Paint Corrected, and Ceramic Coated, I am going to pick some up from WayMotorWorks and throw them on!!
The Hood Scoop has been repainted, and the emblems have been replaced!

Congratulations and welcome to NAM. That’s a clean looking example which sounds like it’s well sorted.
