Looking to replace stock unity with Android head on HK system
So, I'm wanting to put in a single din android unit, and I have all the adapters, can bus decoder, etc. But when reading this forum, it seems like there might be a problem with the HK unit when installing an android unit?
Is that the case? I don't really care about the HK, as it doesn't seem to make a difference to me when it's enabled (maybe speakers are too old).
Will I need to run new speaker wires and speakers, and just yank out the HK system? My main goal is to get a unit with video so I can hook up my backup camera to it, in addition to all the other fun android stuff.
