Privacy concerns with '22 built in mobile features

My 2022 MINI Cooper S has the "feature" of having weather reports at your car's location, as well as a CNN news feed. This is done without a cell phone's presence. I guess you can also close the windows, or some other equally useful function, from your mobile phone, but I haven't gotten into that.

To my mind, it seems very easy for the powers that be to track your car, shut it off, etc.

Is there a way to disconnect this module?

Stop in to your dealer and have MINI Connected disabled.

The "powers that be" already has all your private information. Nothing you can do to stop it.
