Any recommendations on a small trailer?

Just bought my first house and I might need to haul some secondhand furniture etc. but we are a one-car family and I don’t want to add car payments on top of our mortgage. Anyone have experience with small, maybe 5x7, trailers that are suitable for a 2014 MINI?

Do you already gave a trailer hitch?
A utility trailer runs around $800

Factoring the cost of a hitch and a trailer, I would just rent a haul pickup here and there.

I had a fold up one from Harbor Freight that I towed with a New Beetle TDI. I'd agree with @TVPostSound sound about renting a truck. I only used that once in a while, it took up space even folded, and was a pain to unfold and fold again. If it was kept outside it'd rust quickly (HF quality). Plus you had to put plywood decking on it.
