Vinstar Marker Lights Fitting Poorly

Does anyone have these lights?
https://www.ecstuning.com/b-vinstar-parts/smoked-led-front-and-rear-side-marker-lights-set-of-four/v-173313~vin/

And if so do they fit this poorly? This is the front, and it appears it is inside of a rear light housing, as the rear lights fit the same as the fronts in the front cutout. Any help is appreciated!

no offense, but might have you put the rear in front or vice versa?

I actually tried fitting both the fronts and rears into the front cutouts, and they fit exactly the same. The front lights do light up orange and the rears light up red, as they should. It seems like the front lights got put into a rear light housing.

By poor fit are you referring to the gap at the top front edge of the light assembly? (that pic is of a front wheel arch, yes?)

Like TVPostSound, I also have the smoked iJDMToy LEDs on my 2017 F56S (manufactured in October 2016). Installed them myself.

But unlike TVPostSound (based on his description), I have exactly the same gap you do and he doesn't. My gap, like yours, is on the front lights/wheel arches only, wouldn't know there was a difference between front and rear until you put these in and are paying close attention and oh hey surprise.

I finally stopped looking at them so closely and my brain forgot them until your post @Giantsfan107, thanks dude

Lol sorry. Maybe I'll just live with it, because it really isn't all that noticeable unless you're really looking closely

Yeah it isn't too noticeable -- not that I excuse the funky fit, but with the light off it blends and with the light on you can't see the (precise) edges at all

You guys made me take another look. I hate you!!!
They do not fit perfectly.

You can see by your picture you're away at the lower right, and upper left.
Mine looks less, as its turned a little more counter clockwise.

Its that little gap at the top were it curves?

I always wondered who made those things. Didn't know until this thread. Thank you!

It's all @Giantsfan107 's fault, we're all scarred for life now, go tell others so we'll have lots of company in our newly-enlightened misery

Yep, It works and function, just that little gap and they are really the only people on the market with these. All are made from the same mold they made.
