Have had a 2022 F56 for just a few days. I don't get a notification of an incoming text on the notification screen on the central display. The text notification does appear on the messaging screen on the Com menu though. I've set the notification types to all the available, including text, and oddly enough, emails. My 2017 showed emails with an old Samsung phone, but when I upgraded, that went away, but that's another story.

I'm not necessarily looking for email notifications, although it would be nice, but I would think texts would be a minimum.

MINI notifications do work, like 'you forgot to turn off the car', or something like that.

Any ideas? I'll ask the dealer next week, but prior experience doesn't encourage optimism.
