'11 Clubman S not getting fuel.

Car has been sitting for some time now due to a no start issue. Basically now I see it's not pumping fuel to the HPFP. The pump simply isn't running. When I ordered the new in-tank pump I bought a filter as well so that is new. Old one was beyond due. Anyway, I checked this issue by disconnecting the low pressure line and setting it into a jug, to which no fuel came out. And there is no audible noise from the pump. The fuse is good so I am completely stumped. If I have to take it to a shop, it's just going to sit for another few months until I can afford it.

Check the relay for the fuel pump in the JBE.

There have been cases of the relay solder for the fuel pump cracking on the JBE circuit board. The fuel pump relay along with several others are soldered to the circuit board. It is a double layer circuit board and the cracked solder is in the middle of the two layers so the whole thing has to be taken apart and then soldered back together. It can be repaired. If you’re a DIYer with good soldering skills it’s possible. If not there are listing on eBay for getting the repair done. I did mine myself but it was a task for sure.

Thanks! Where is it located? I am not that sharp with a lot of electrical, but if there's a simple test I can do, I do have a Power Probe on hand and if you're familiar with that, I can energize a circuit, check voltage, and continuity. I also have a coworker who is very good with soldering so I can probably have him help me out.

The JBE is located in the passenger’s footwell on the right hand side. It is the fuse box. Here is a link to another post about the topic.

He mentions cutting some pins or studs. Do you know what he's talking about?
Thanks again

It is a two layer circuit board and those pins are what hold the two layers together. I cut mine also but in hindsight I would’ve just desoldered them from one of the boards. There is a special soldering equipment that makes this a lot easier that you can buy on Amazon pretty cheap. I bought a solder sucker and a soldering station and was able to do mine.

so this is a common problem with these damn things?
I went ahead and ordered that relay. I will take a look at it and likely pull that board sometime this week
