MINIs on the History Channel
Just a note to everyone that the History Channel is airing a show this evening at 9 pm that features the Mini Cooper. It is my understanding that it will deal with the history of the car, (duh, it's the History Channel
). Thought you guys would want to try to catch it if you have a chance.

Mini Racers on the History Channel
Winter got you down? Are you are up to your door handles in snow--or maybe the street in front of your house looks more like a river? What you need is a "Mini fix."
Catch the History Channel on Wednesday, January 12 @ 9pm ET/PT
Part reality show, part history, FULL THROTTLE gives car lovers the chance to ride into history. Two teams are each given the same model of a classic mini in similar disrepair. Supplied with a garage, tools and parts, they've got two days to get their wheels high performance as they prepare to compete in a timed road race at the Streets of Willow in Palmdale California. The winner drives away in both cars; the loser walks away empty-handed.
Several of the Heritage Racing Team Minis were used for the “B” footage at the track as well as Heritage Garage supplying lots of the technical support for the production.
I think they did a great job considering they started with a couple of rusty UK imports and there’s entertainment for everyone including the non-Mini viewers. Hope you have a chance to catch it!
