R56 Looking for performance brake kits that will fit 16" wheels?
Looking for performance brake kits that will fit 16" wheels?
I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on my R56S. Most of the year I'm using 17" rims with some high performance tires, but during the winter I slap on 16" steel rims with blizzaks (this has saved my butt quite a few times).
Here are my questions:
1. Do I need to worry about kits not fitting right with 16" rims?
2. Which kits have y'all had good experience with? (It looks like wilwood is pretty popular)
3. Should I do the front AND back or just the front?

Wilwood. 4 pistons, great braking system, i would do front and backs.: https://www.ecstuning.com/b-wilwood-..._1.6l_n14b16a/

If you’re looking at saving some money compared to a wilwood or brembo kit, I had good experience with the power stop pads an rotors (did drilled and slotted for the look) and they also make a kit with a painted caliper. Just the upgrade pads and rotors on my stock mcs was night and day breaking.

2. For street just get stock size Brembo Xtra rotors and Ferodo DS Performance pads.
3. Along with fixed calipers on front I'd do the JCW 280 mm on rear (rotor and bracket, caliper remains same)
