I have a 2016 F55 with the Harman Kardon stereo without the screen. I, like everyone else, want to upgrade that unit to a touchscreen with bluetooth and have been looking at the aftermarket units on ebay and aliexpress. I have looked high and low for anyone willing to admit they replaced their head unit with one of those, but have been unable to find a link, video or thread.

I am wondering does it actually work? Will it work with the functions and warnings of the car? etc etc
I don't want to shell out $500 for something that won't work.
Any threads or pages I missed?

Honestly doesn't look to good. And the screen resolution is hideous! No offense man!

 

lol...none taken. But considering I'm upgrading from a monochrome display, anything is a huge leap forward.
