After a head rebuild due to multiple cooling issues, a curb accident, then a timing chain problem, I finally got a full event in with the Mini (2006 MCS Hardtop) running right. Its been since March that I last auto-crossed, so I had to knock A LOT of rust off. And it showed. My first laps were pretty slow. 2nd Lap I forgot to turn of Traction Control, man that system sucks the life out of the Mini!!!

The fastest Lap of the day was a 45.864 by a guy that has won several national trophies and his wife has two jackets from ESL. So, its a solid time.

Soundly beat a 2021 WRX STi in my class, but he's pretty new so its not really a fair comparison. PAX is probably more indictive as to how I did.
And the video of my best run. Totally botched the end and was off line for the start of the first slalom. Need to tighten up to the cones and get better on the brakes. But, felt good about it overall.
