Hi folks just thought I would share a couple of recent photos in the last week here in the UK

Appears to be a slicktop as well?

Over here the R53 tin top is somewhat difficult to find, I don't know the actual numbers but it seems most buyers when new chose the premium package with glass roof.

Wildly guessing I'd reckon that around 80% of R53's sold over here had the sunroof.

Was the take rate for the sunroof version similar in the UK?

 

Frank was truly a great guest of honour I am so pleased we booked him to be the main guy at the 1st ever JCW National day, he was so enthusiastic and friendly to everyone and signed cars and posed for pics with whoever asked him, truly a giant of a man with a big heart and yes its the older atomspeed scoop prior to the bad batches made in later years, and thanks for the kind words re the car its to my taste but I know not to everyones, and yes its a hatchback hardtop as we call them here and not everyone here is a fan of the panoramic roof as makes the car heavier and is frowned upon by those that also take their cars on track so I would guess your stats in the US are reversed here for the uk as sunroofs in minis are nowhere near as popular, also 95% of cars here are manual, and yes has the 2 tone recaro heated seats
