07 R56 Cooper S fuse help

Hi everyone! First post here so I apologize if it is something that has been asked/answered before. I’m currently taking apart my interior so that I can run cables for dash cam and will be tapping into the interior fuse box. Does anyone know if any of the open fuses are constant power? My dash cam has parking monitoring if I have constant power, currently fuse spots 1, 2, 6, 19, 20, 36, 41, 45

again sorry if this has been asked before and thanks in advance for any help!

Mate, have you got it done? I tapped the "constant" wire into #34, and "switch" wire to #12. It's not turning off even car is locked. Which ones did you tapped into?

Do not tap into a constant power supply. The car needs to go to sleep after 16 minutes and having constant power to an aftermarket item can cause not to, draining your battery.

You'll need to use a DVOM and find a fuse that only gets powered once the key is on (KL15) and powers off once turned off.

Good luck!

As my dash cam has a parking monitoring mode, I WANT constant powers, hence why I asked for it. It is hardwired in and has a voltage cutoff so that I do not drain the battery too much. I appreciate the concern and I understand the potential problems but I am not concerned with them.

I apologize for the late response, I tapped into the horn, my tap comes out, makes a 90 degree bend and has the fuse for the original slot and a separate fuse for the cameras power. I haven't had any issues with it sense install until recently where the camera isn't turning on when car is off, although that might be a camera issue or an issue with the voltage cutoff unit (I haven't checked yet). The main issue with tapping into the horn fuse is now I cannot had the cover over the fuse box so I would like to figure out a fuse at least one row in.
