Borla S Type with Akrapovic DP

I just bought a 2012 MCS and I'm looking to amplify my driving experience, starting with the exhaust system. I'm looking into the Borla S Type catback with an Akrapovic DP. I know you have to cut the original piece to fit the Borla, so would this mean I would also have to cut the Akrapovic? I've seen all kinds of combos just not the one I'm interested in trying. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The Akrapovic DP will bolt the the OEM mid-pipe. So, no cutting needed for that piece. Then, the Borla exhaust will slip over the mid-pipe behind the OEM cat. For that set up, then, only one cut would be needed.

In that case there should be no particular order I need to order my parts in?

I would get a downpipe first, since it will have an affect on exhaust noise. Might change your mind about exhaust options.
