Blower motor on R53

I have a 2005 R53, I just got done replacing my blower motor and I had to take off the magnesium crossbar to do it because I could not get the old fan out without removing it. Now here is the worst part my new blower motor is bad. Is there any way to replace the blower motor without pulling everything out of the car. Thanks for the help.

I'm not aware of any other way. But before you go yanking it out it might be worth doing a few tests to be absolutely sure it's the problem. Are you get 12V to the blower when it's set on high? What if you apply 12V directly to the fan (use a battery and two test leads).

We must have damaged it putting it in because it makes all kinds of crazy noise. This is the worst design ever, it took forever to take everything down to the firewall so I am not looking forward to doing it again.
