UPDATE: I was able to buy one from a forum member. You guys really stepped up and helped me end a six month search.
I Looking for a Genuine Mini Cooper R50 R53 With Rear Spoiler Outdoor Car Cover part number 82110300266. I know I can buy an after market cover for less money, but I prefer the original factory accessory if I can find one. I will take it in new or used condition.
If you have one and want to upgrade to a newer fancier car cover with the latest in fabric technology, now is a good time to sell off that old gray factory cover and buy a brand new car cover for your Gen 1 cooper S.
Please PM me if you want to sell one or know of someone who does.

A forum member called Kevi PM'd me and offered to sell me a car cover for seemed like a correct price. I sent money and now I have not heard from them. The emails I send to them are auto transferred to my trash folder in Gmail.
My fault for being so trusting of a forum member.

Wow.......He actually emailed me about a set of R90 wheels he had for $1285.00. I guess I got really lucky I didn't pull the trigger. I always thought this was a safe place to buy but now I'm second guessing that. Sorry to hear about your misfortune.

Some lessons can be taught, others must be learned.
I was too eager to get the factory cover, I did not research enough before sending money. I did that on a web site once and fortunately is was a cheaper lesson. I just took it on faith that forum members were trustworthy (and they are). I just needed to look at how long they had been on the forum and how many posts they have in the future
I have until MTTS next July (but I would like one MUCH sooner).

I have one, I'm out of town for a few more days but I'll PM some pics and a price after I get back home Sunday. As you can see, I have purchased several things on here over the years, am a real human, and have been a member/lurker since like six months after I bought my R53 new lol.
