Anyone looking for an R56 turbo?
This is a 43mm (43/56) Quick Spool turbo with a Forge diverter valve. I received this turbo as a warranty replacement for a failed mQubed Motorsports (Mario kart, Mario Palza) 43mm turbo. This turbo developed a boost leak and rather than deal with another potential failure I replaced it with an OEM JCW turbo.
I've rebuilt this turbo and replaced every seal inside and out with new seals from Turbo Lab America. I also replaced the bearings with a true 360 degree thrust bearing and twin oil feed bearing.
Also included is the OEM diverter valve that came with the turbo and a Forge Motorsports N18 diverter valve.
This turbo was great and had no issue quickly spooling to 23lbs. The issue it had was, it could not put up with the sustained abuse of track use. I would absolutely not recommend this if you are using your car for track days (road course). It will be fine to daily when you want a little extra kick. It will probably work fine for Auto X and 1/4 mile stuff. Just not sustained lapping.
You will need a tune to make full use of it.
