My battery has been draining these past weeks. Today the mini struggled to start. But it finally did. Also the engine light popped up.

Once back home, I plugged in the scanning tool to find out the problem. And it turns out to be several fault codes( these attached, the most worrisome ones).

Could this had happened due to it struggling to ignite?

Tomorrow I’m going to change the oxygen sensors that they’re much needed at this point. It hit the 80k. Also bringing the battery to Advance Auto Parts to have it charged. Barely a year since I bought it. And new spark plugs too.

 

I am curious about the status of your battery (age?), your alternator (bench test?) and drive belt (visual inspection, slipping?). Something in my mind tells me local US auto stores can't bench test the MINI alternator. Notwithstanding, I would diagnose the the battery/alternator (powerhouse) and drive belt first.
