Alternator Help for Japanese Mini
Evening all,
Just picked up a 93 Japanese Mini (1275 engine with Air Con) and my alternator seems to be gone. I cannot seem to find a replacement alternator (Part GNU 2518). Anyone know where I can find one or is there a substitute that I can use? I saw that MiniMani sells GXE2297 for "All 80-96" models but another site indicated that this was not compatible with Air Con.

Not long ago I was discussing the purchase of a Japanese Mini with someone who was looking at my Brit (RHD) 79 ..... he really wanted the a/c of the J car .... I cautioned on certain 'support issues' and parts differences . . .
