When I turn the rear wipers on, the passenger side operates as if I had activated the wiper fluid function (without spraying fluid) and then stops in a random location (not in the normal "parked" position). The driver side rear wiper operates normally. Any ideas?

 

Matt, Place a call to your MINI dealer and have them check to see if your car has a recall notice. My '19 was affected by a 'body control module' issue that affected all electronics except engine/transmission. Nothing was wrong that I could tell but was taken care of when I had my recent service visit. I believe they flash the modules of concern to the factory (new) default settings. If you have been 'modding' your car - programming or making changes to any part of the wiring or controls - you may have accidentally kicked off the symptoms you are experiencing. Good luck with your detective work.

 

I also would give a call to the dealer. A 2020 should still have some kind of warranty left.
