Our 2019 lease will be up in June ... have loved the red convertible, but now looking forward to his successor which just started production. Loaded Cooper S in the new Island Blue. We were hoping for a Zesty Yellow but only if it were more of a chartreuse green - some pix looked like it might be but most looked more tweety bird, so opted for cool blue.

We just bought the Sidewalk Edition 2 days ago. You’re going to love the 2022!

The last Mini we owned was a 2010 Clubman and that was 9 years ago.

 

(as the kids say!) that is an awesome looking buggy! I really wanted that silver interior and color, but a Union Jack top. My dealer said they couldn’t custom it … so I did the next best thing.

he’s at Zeebruge port now and should be getting on the boat over the weekend. Woo hoo!!

I would have gone for that Union Jack roof if I could. That blue you are getting with the piano black trim looks good.

This Sidewalk Edition was on the lot at a dealer an hour away from us. We loved the color and the features on this model. We got a pretty good deal also. We walked away from it on Saturday afternoon and thought we were done. Got a call Monday morning from the sales guy and they knocked off $3,000. We were shocked that they did that for a 2022 model. I’m not going to complain, though.

The interior:

 

That’s a smokin hot deal. I’m not expecting as good a deal as I ordered it… but there is a 2k incentive and hopefully some $ from the dealer, I’m giving them a lease return almost 12k under its mileage cap.

I’m green with envy - that interior is awesome.

A 2K incentive for a 2022? I thought they were only doing factory deals on the 2021 models.

 

Hoping this is accurate

 

I noticed this while playing with the new 2022 configator online, and almost see the same in the quoted picture.

Are the door panels now a gray? Dark gray? I know that lighting and camera settings can make subtle color changes, but I am using the piano black trim on the door panels as a reference.

 

@Walt The color is a darker gray. I tried to make sure I was seeing it right. Had the wife look also to make sure that it wasn’t black. The seats are called anthracite gray. I’ve attached some more pictures:

 

Oh that grey interior is really perfect - especially with the blue accent along the doors. I wish they offered that interior in the regular builds!!!

 

Then the special editions wouldn't be special.
