R52 Sidewalk Interior Anyone?

I have a lead on a Sidewalk Interior Package out of a 2008 R52. I don't have a price yet but will be checking it out on Saturday as I pick up some other R52 bits. I would buy it but my car is blue - not a good look...

Yeah, sorry. I suppose a location would help. I'm in south-central PA. Harrisburg/Lancaster/York area.

When you say "re-doing", what exactly do you need? I can get prices on those items.

If seats are not beat up (especially the drivers seats) then buy them. I could be interested in them depending on condition. I wouldnt mind
getting better front drivers seat for my sidewalk and I live close (Maryland). Also grab the matching trim if you can (door cards, shift **** and steering wheel)

False alarm. When I got there on Saturday I found that the roof had been left open and the engine and subframe had been removed. The subframe was on the front seats along with all the other unneeded bits and 8" of snow. Completely trashed. What a shame.

That really too bad because they looked to be in great condition.

When I was looking for a sidewalk interior a couple years ago I found a couple at salvage yards that were destroyed because doors, roofs, or back windows were removed. Its amazing that they don't take better care of them. I guess there is not much of a market for them or they would. I did finally find an interior from a guy parting a car on Craigslist. He hadn't listed the seats but I saw the door armrest in one of the images and asked about them.

I think it really transforms the car. I hate black interiors, especially in a convertible.

I was going to buy it for sure when I saw the prices. I could have had the whole interior for a little over $100. I figured I could sell it for a small profit but, more importantly, give someone a great opportunity to have a nice upgrade.

Ouch! that's a real shame. If you go back anytime soon let me know. I'd like a piece of leather to recover my center armrest in the malt brown leather. Assuming here is some in decent condition somewhere on there.

doubt I’ll be back. It’s at Chaz’s Auto Salvage. Chazsauto.com in Taneytown, MD
I actually bought a tarp and brought tape with me so I cover the interior in case I didn’t have time to pull it.
After all I was pulling the roof...

No problem. Too far away for me. It will probably be easier to search for a scrap at an upholstery shop.

I searched for about 2 years for the seats. Set up a search on ebay. Look on car-parts.com occasionally. I had put in a request at AllMag in Florida but found this set shortly before I heard from them. Their price was also pretty crazy and then had to be shipped. Good luck with your search. It will be worth the wait!

Interesting giraffe spots on the A-panels. What color was the top?

Yikes, that is terrible. I have the brown seats in my 2007 sidewalk, and they are terrific. Hope you find another example.

Black. Here are pictures from the listing. As you can see, the interior got me pumped up...

I've found similar results during my search. They take pictures when the car comes in. Depending on how they are picked over they deteriorate from there. Leather goes really fast out in the elements.

no. I was done by the time I got the roof off. I wasn’t going to try and move the subframe. It’s possible that they could be saved- not sure.
