Can anyone recommend a non-dealer MINI specialist mechanic in Atlanta to install new JCW 210 factory kit, some maintenance work, and possibly suspension and brake upgrades? I've tried sending several messages to Way Motor Works but haven't been successful in getting them to sign on to do work or reply to my messages and my MINI needs maintenance work done asap! I hear they are great but can't wait on them any more.

 

Might be better to pick up the phone and call them. Curious where you found a new JCW tunic kit? I just missed getting one in 2018 when the went NLA.

 

I have tried but Way apparently only handles shop work via email - at least that was what I was told when I tried calling. I'm trying to be patient but my MINI is a daily driver and needs maintenance work done today - falling further behind schedule. Really would prefer to have it all done at once since some items will be redundant with upgrades and maintenance items overlapping. May have to bite the bullet and have maintenance work done somewhere else and have him do the upgrade work. Way replied yesterday and said I'm in his cue but it's already been 3 weeks since last correspondence. I snagged a new old stock factory tuning kit off Ebay last year from Greece and had it shipped to here to Georgia.

 

Couple things on the topic of WMW, I know they just moved to a new location in August and I know that Way had to quit answering the phone because (according to him) he was spending too much time dealing with questions about this or that part/mod/method of doing XYZ on a MINI. I know that he/someone from the business monitors the contact us form on their webpage and someone is using their Facebook. If I was in your situation, I'd do another round of full court press via the contact us page and Facebook. If that didn't work, I'd probably then stop by their new location. If you still didn't have luck, then I'd figure out logistics to get maintenance and upgrades done at Cooper's Garage in Nashville.
