building a 2008 sidewalk edition , green with green roof , i called the dealer and green and blue are no longer available , so where do i get a good quality green top ?

 

I would say get the color they do offer, black, and then have it painted?

 

no no way , that doesn't work , i specialize in mini used auto parts, black roofs i have , some with 40k miles , but thats not an option, i want the original green roof on that car

Google reviews are er, "mixed". There is also an entire green used roof including mechanism on ebay right now that would come in at under a $1000 after shipping, if you dont mind the previously enjoyed route.

If you google the part number a few options come up, convenience varies depending on location I guess.

 

I've owned rag tops on and off since the mid 70's ...... Robbins is a VERY respected company for replacement tops

We are checking on the Green from MINI and trying to see if they can get one for you. We have friend in MINI and can help out when needed. We go beyond the dealers most of the time. Robbins and Haartz (if you can get it) are other options.
