KW coilover noise

A couple of months ago, I installed KW V2 coilovers on my 2013 Countryman S All4. I love the way the car handles and looks (lowered about 1.5"). The only thing I don't love is a noise that comes from the right rear. It's metal-on-metal and has been driving me crazy. The noise happens most on smaller bumps and at lower speeds, though not exclusively. I've been back under the car a couple of times to double and triple check that everything is tight. I suspected the sway bar end links so I replaced them and ensured that they are tight.

I now realize that the noise seems to be coming from higher up. Today I put the car on stands again and while looking around found evidence that the top spring mount (perch? stop?) is hitting the guide support (the black mount that attaches the shock to the car). Pictures below. I used all new hardware and was careful with the assembly. Any idea what I've done wrong?

With the suspension loaded (though not fully) you can see how close the purple spring perch is to the guide support.

Unloaded, you can see evidence of the contact.
