R52 jcw rear badge location

When I bought my 08 R52 JCW the rear JCW badge was missing so I finally bit the bullet and bought one. Can any of you that have a R52 post a pic of the rear hatch so I make sure I get the new badge in the right location. This is the only pic I could find and I want to make sure its correct. Thanks

From the R53 JCW 210 kit instructions. I wouldn’t think it’s any different on the convertible. Note the reminder that the alignment might need adjusting if the Cooper S emblem is on the hatch.

So basically centered left to right and if the cooper s is on the right your supposed to match the height of the JCW badge with that.

It's a petroleum byproduct. Alcohol is produced by fermentation of fruits or vegetables.

Any auto parts shop will have what you want. Meguiar's Gold Class is good stuff as are their other products.
More than likely a total paint detail job is in order.

I would wash the car, or just the back, using Dawn dishwashing soap which will clean and remove most waxes from the paint, dry, stick the badge on, then re-wax. If the Dawn doesn’t remove the wax or sealant, then you might have to use something from an auto body supply shop.

Also, the badge will stick better if the body and adhesive tape are warm.

My issue is the car was just fully detailed and ceramic coated like 5 months ago so I dont want to start stripping that off. Maybe I'll just tape off the area where the badge is going and give it a good cleaning and hope for the best.
