Hey guys Louis here, first time poster. So I've liked Mini's for as long as I can remember. And it's time to pick one up. I recently came across so nice lady who Mini doesn't start. She wants $600 cash for someone to just take it away. It's a 2009 normal Mini with a stick. It has 147,000 miles on it. And is in perfect condition otherwise. Outside and inside are in great shape. And not In that great shape like they recently cleaned it up to hide something lol. She said she it may need $200 in repairs or more. She doesn't really know. I'm new to Mini's and I don't have a lot of experience fixing cars. But I think I could tackle most issues. My question is what should I look for since the car won't start? I recently bought the Bluedriver OBD2 scanner and watch Chrisfixes videos on how to buy a used car. And Mod MINI videos on what to look for on a second gen Mini. I would really appreciate and help for the Mini community.
