During the lockdown, while driving, my rear sunroof spontaneously shattered and I’m now in the market for a new sunroof glass for the rear of my F56. The brand new glass costs about $900 Canadian dollars and I’m looking to purchase something second hand but all I can find are R56 sunroofs and I’m not sure if the sunroofs are the same size. Can someone please help me with more information if they both are the same size or not?

 

I am not 100% sure that they are the same size, but I would assume that they are not. The F56 is overall a bigger car than the R56, and the rear panel on the R56 has the ability to prop, where as the rear panel on the F56 does not have that.
