R50/53 Rearview mirror "frame" buzzing - fix?
Rearview mirror "frame" buzzing - fix?
My JCW has remarkably few rattles or buzzes, but one persistent one that drives me insane is the auto dimming mirror's frame that surrounds the mirror glass will buzz. I can sorta stop it for a few minutes by squeezing/pushing on the edges of the mirror, but it always returns.
Is there a way to stop this by popping off the frame and inserting some high density foam or a layer of tape somewhere on the inside to keep the frame more secure?

i have taken motorcycle mirrors apart. but they are not the sophisticated mirrors ours are. i dont know about your mirror but mine has autodiming.
with a motorcycle mirror toss it in the oven until warm. not cooked. just warm. its all glue.
but the buzz in motorcycle mirrors more often than not is not the mirror but the mount and micro cracks

The autodimming mirror just pries apart.
