Correct resister for aftermarket seats

What resister do I use to plug into the airbag harness under the seat after I install aftermarket seats to not have the airbag light on. Also which harness is it ?
I bought inpa but unfortunately it's not comparable with my laptop..
just making sure because error lights on my dash have always driven me nuts as they always draw my eyes and then wonder if anything else could be wrong I'm unaware of.

what color is the plug underneath that I stick them in by chance ? Or is there only 1 in our r53 ?
guess I shouldn't worry too much if my airbag light accidentally goes on though rite? What little the software could do on my pc I think it could atleast reset the error code correct ? Sorry adrian...I couldn't follow befor as the dumb thing was in German or something...

One for airbag One for Seatbelt. You will need pieces for each side of the car if you do both.
You can buy the pigtails from the MINI dealer or cut them out of a donor car and add the resistors inline.
I have had no problems with lights using these. Just remember not to run the key on when nothing is connected.

I thought I'm sapose to use 30ohm ???
Can you provide me links so I could just go and buy exactly what I need..I'm starting to regret buying these seats tgat have just been sitting outside of my car collecting dust.

I'm also going to run my stock belts for now so wouldn't I then just need the resistor for the airbag ?

Do you lose the tensioner when you go with aftermarket seats? I guess it would depend on which seats you buy.

I've seen several videos on YouTube about this. OP might try a search there. Sorry I can't help more, have not done this yet...

I guess I should ask..if I just install the seats with out any resistors or anything and trigger an error code, when I clear the error code will it just reappear once my car is shut off and restarted ?

yes sir. once you trigger the light, it will stay on until reset. if you don't fix the issue and reset it, the light will come back on. there are some good YouTube videos on this iirc

thought so,dang..
And the videos I found all say we will address the airbag light and never do in the video or make another showing exactly how they did it but that where I seen about bolting the stock seatbelt tensioner to the aftermarket seat mount.

I have the Micky mouse gauge setup with navigation in the middle and on my gauges I dont see any srs or airbag lights that lite up, only those 2 I attached pic of..

I'd image if you can't plug in the tensioner at all, both lights would come on. try it. you can reset with inpa. no harm done.
