My new to me 1988 MKV Cooper has been fully restored/upgraded to 1275 lump. It has what appears to be a straight through exhaust, with only one "can" about mid-way point from engine to rear. Pipe splits to a twin exit tailpipe (which has some kind of fancy louvering going inside each exit pipe). There is a "Bosal" marking on the central can.
I'm finding this setup a bit too loud for my urban driving environment. What should I be looking at for reasonable alternatives? I like the side exit setups rather than centerline types.

An RC40 system is just what you need, you can get them at any of the major Mini parts sellers....Minisport, MiniSpares in England, MiniMania, 7 Ent, or Moss Motors here in the states.
