Just wondering if any of the Indy MINI's wanted to get together for New Years eve?? I know some people already have plans, but if there was enough that didn't, and maybe wanted to get together we could. Post if your interested and we'll see what happens.

I was wanting to go to the auto show sooo badly! I asked my father to join me and he's just into that sort of thing... ugh I probley won't go if I don't find someone to go with.

 

That sounds like a good idea. Meet up at the auto show. Forgive me, but what are the dates? I could do a Saturday or Sunday at the Auto Show. I will bring my Digital Camera and we can make it an unnoficial event!

 

As the MINICCI Event Coordinator I say we make it an official MINICCI event. What day would work for most people?? Any ideas on places to park and meet up so we don't pay an arm and leg to park? This could be great. I'll do some checking on group ticket prices.

 

I'll chime in that either Saturday or Sunday is fine with me. Friday night is already looking pretty busy for me though. And I had planned to leave Cordy in the garage.

On the note of the auto show, according to the website (http://www.indyautoshow.com/) Sunday the 2nd is the last day. It is going to be at the RCA dome, so cheap parking may be a little tricky.

 

We may be able to park some of the cars where I work and do a short car pool on up to the show.

 

Saturday Evening (after 6) or Sunday afternoon would work best for MrsDiff and myself. Please keep us informed about group ticket status and possible parking.

 

Anyone willing to take an extra passenger? I have no clue about driving through Indianapolis on my lonesome......I'd be willing to take on your parking charges or something to help pay for the kindness.

 

MrsDiff and I would like to offer you a ride. It won't be in a MINI but... KidDiff1 and KidDiff2 will not be attending so we have extra space.

Hey everyone, just found the print out in The Indianpolis Star that was all abouteth Auto show, just FYI :: the D&R Mini booth will be in Hall A, basicly in the middle of that entire hall.

Also, if anyone is bringing a guest that is Active Duty Military or Police & Fire Dept. personnel they will get in w/o any admission costs if they are in uniform. I am going to bring my Plainfield PD Dispatch ID, hopefully they will recognise that dispatchers are part of the Departments just as well as the guys on the streets.

I can't wait to see everyone again, hopefully I will make it home afterwards in time to go to work I'm hoping I may be able to work out a shift trade so I may get out of that shift, but it means working the night that I get my tattoo next week.

 

I wish I could go, but I have to work in the evening. If you guys go in the day time, I would meet everyone for sure.
