So the plan is for Saturday night around 6:00 at a parking lot to be decided. Sound correct? The auto show does end at 9:00, so will that be enough time for everyone?

 

I'll see what my plans are... I am literally just in from vacation so my mind is not functioning.

I had planned to go to the car show with my ex-bf but I really do not feel like dealing with him right now. I just want to look at cars. If I do meet up with you guys I'll probably head to the show much earlier... I want to see everything there.

I hate snow. Just though I would make everyone aware of that.

 

I managed to get the night of the auto show off from work... I hope it's worth it! lol

 

MINItencan: You had said something about parking where you work??? Is that a go or a no go??

MINIguru: What about the group ticket thingy? Any luck? Still $6 is not that bad per person.

Being that I don't have a MINI (yet, Someday hopefully soon) I was just going to meet everyone at the booth. But perhaps we should meet inside the convention hall but outside the show that way we could try for the group tickets.

Hey westsiders, anyone want to meet up somewhere and caravan in? Lowes on 10th? Home Depot on 38th? God forbid the K-Mart on W Washington (nah just joking).

 

Due to the weather forecast, I will probably be parking in the mall parking lot and walking (all inside) to the convention center. It's cheap. It's easy. It's inside. It would be difficult to declare a "meeting" space in there though.

 

MrsDiff and I will pick up EefsJ_JArc around 5:00ish and can meet you to caravan in. What about the Sam's Club parking lot behind Kazablankas(sp?)?

Won't know what our ride will be as our normal babysitter is in the hospital, we may have to bring the kids in our MommyVan. Either a 94 green Dodge Caravan with tinted windows or a 1st generation white Dodge Stratus.

 

What about this for a plan:

Westsiders wanting to go meet at K-Mart on W. Washington. This way we could just take Washington all the way in. Meet at about 5:20PM, leave by 5:30?

Davisio has a good idea for parking, the garage for Circle Center. It is cheap and would be out of the elements.

Everyone meet at the entrance on Maryland to the Convention Center at 6:00PM. (Suggestions for a better place? I don't know the Convo Center well!)

I don't consider Mommy Vans a car, and technically MrsDiff needs a new mommy van more than I need a MINI.

But I have yet to find a Mommy Van Club and web page to meet and talk with people!

MrsDiff told me that she wants a MINI more than the MommyVans we looked at. I think that she is hooked, thought not as bad as EefsJ_JArc!

I am making it official. The next time there is a rally I will volenteer for a checkpoint. That is untill I get a MINI. Then we want to play also!
