I’ve enjoyed two sets of the Potenza RE960AS RFT. It was a second generation run flat, the ride was decent, and it provided good all season handling. However, the newer version 980AS Doesn’t come in a run flat and all other run flats in the 205/45/17 size seem to be touring tires. The only other performance all season is the Yokohama AVID, which got poor reviews compared to the 960AS. I’d prefer to stick with a run flat. Does anyone know if there is something equivalent to the quality of the 960AS?

 

Bridgestone Driveguard is the current runflat 'grand touring' all season ... had 'em for about a year now on our R59 (195/55R16) with no complaints
